The next phase of the physical regeneration of St Teresa’s Gardens will be the construction of 54 accommodation units and phase A of Parks Development Works. There will be 38 houses and 16 apartments, a children’s playground with soft landscaping, wild space and micro woodlands and a temporary grass multi-sport pitch.
The 54 new units of accommodation will be made up of 16 apartments, 28 three bedroom terraced houses and 10 two bedroom terraced houses.
The housing units will have gardens to the rear and some private space to the front, with car parking spaces as shown. The apartment block will have a separate entrance and courtyard, with access for those living there.
Purcell Construction have been awarded the contract for the construction of the 54 units. Purcell are due to move onsite in December 2018. This build programme is a 94 weeks contract, meaning it is envisaged that residents will be in their new homes by the end of 2020.
