Greening of the Margaret Kennedy Road Fence

In early December, St. Teresa’s Gardens Regeneration Board, sponsored by Dublin City Council, arranged for HSK Nurseries to plant over 700 native hedge and climber plants on the brownfield site along the fence which runs all the way along Margaret Kennedy Road. Even though most of these plants (the main exception being the ewe trees and holly) will be in a barely visible dormant state over the winter months, we are hoping that by next summer the fence will be adorned by thriving plants with flowers and berries in years to come. More information on the plant species and the project in general can be found on the following posters, which have also been hung along the planted fence.
